Spencer's mission is to simplify crypto for investors, traders, and companies. He believes in disruptive innovations, a decentralized future, and that everyone with an internet connection should have access to high-quality, straightforward research and market insights. As a Co-Founder of CryptoEQ, Spencer has helped tens of thousands of digital asset investors and traders demystify the complex world of crypto. As a General Partner at Event Horizon Capital, he leads accredited investors and funds in strategies, allocations, and risk management for digital assets. Spencer is thrilled to see teams thrive and community members light up when CryptoEQ and Event Horizon Capital products exceed expectations and accelerate growth. Originally from Galveston, Texas, Spencer now lives in Houston, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and earned his Professional Engineering License from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in 2018. Spencer has served in several Rice University programs, emphasizing entrepreneurship, innovation, and engineering on campus. Over the years, he has held leadership roles as a student mentor for the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership, a group facilitator for the Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and most recently as a business mentor for the Jones Graduate School of Business. Currently, Spencer serves as the Director of Rice Alumni Entrepreneurs and Innovators, fostering a community of peer-to-peer support, learning, goal-setting, and fun for entrepreneurs."
