Galveston Central Church

In addition to Michael’s duties as Pastor of Galveston Central Church, he is also a community organizer and changemaker. He is co-founder of Galveston Housing Plus, co-founding member of Galveston CoCare, and a Curricula and Community Consultant for Project Curate. At his church, members of Central cook together with the homeless and sit down together to share a meal, created a bicycle repair shop to train the homeless in a trade and provides bikes to the homeless, and installed a laundromat and a shower facility to provide dignity to the homeless.
