Teresa Potter
ED, Galveston Arts Center

Teresa Potter is the Executive Director of the Galveston Arts Center (GAC). Ms. Potter formerly served as City Librarian at League City’s Helen Hall Library. After 14 years in librarianship, her role at GAC opens new opportunities to lead through thought-provoking and inspiring community service, empower and embrace freedom of expression, and uplift artist voices. Ms. Potter holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston Downtown and a master’s degree in library science from the University of North Texas. The time on Galveston Island she spent completing her bachelor's degree in marine biology with Texas A&M University at Galveston is what brought her back to the island.
